Twisted Sister in their debut was a band without an album or a video because no labels wanted to sign them, they were playing everywhere, most of the time in small places, with this experience of the stage, they won a big reputation during their shows. When they finally did their first album, they had already thousands and thousands fans because of their shows.
Music video is a weird thing to me. I never understood how a video can promote a song. It's only a business created by the music companies.
